THE GRAIN CHALLENGE STORY

The Grain Challenge is an agricultural based charity hockey tournament. We started back in 1998 with 6 teams, expanded to 44 teams by the 15th anniversary and for 2024 we’re expecting to have 60 teams representing our industry! Net proceeds from the Grain Challenge Hockey Tournament have always been handed over to help the Manitoba/Nunavut and Saskatchewan Chapters of the Children's Wish Foundation and, to date we have raised more than $488,400 in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Tournament Organizer Neil Haeusler and Co-Organizer Tal McGonigal are proud of their efforts and recognize that it could not happen without the incredible support from the agricultural community by testing their competitive spirit on the ice and socializing off the ice throughout the weekend.
